Early this month, I decided to go to RSPB`s Arne reserve in Dorset to concentrate mainly on photographing Sika deer - like I said before, I have no pictures of them. The day went too quickly, but I still managed to get a great selection of pictures, including a rare bird called the Dartford warbler.

Due to there being quite a large variety of shots, I’ve decided to add a Sika deer gallery in April.

I’ve had numerous requests from people asking whether I’ll be having a landscape gallery so, to answer those questions, yes - one will be also be added in April.

I spent a day in the New Forest checking out a couple of new locations that I’ve been told about, These turned out to be good “tip offs”, as I found a lot of red and fallow deer hanging around all day. These places are tucked out the way and not a lot of people know about them, so the deer are not disturbed. Had it not been pouring down with rain the day I went, I would have been able to get some decent shots, but I did get a dozen or so pictures of a white fallow buck fighting with a brown fallow buck, which was good as I`d never seen that before.

Can`t tell you much about what I'm up to this month, as I`m not sure yet! There’s a good chance I`m going back to Gigrin Farm, but that’s about it!
